The wonderful thing about working with children at their nursery/school is that they are in an environment where they feel comfortable and expressive. As a photographer, this allows me to be creative, unstructured and informal. I usually spend a lot of time with the children, talking, playing, reading or even joining in group activities so that, they can become used to me. Whatever the age group, children need to accept you before they will become natural in front of the camera.
I offer several options: a classic option to only take the individual formal portrait and group photos or a more informal option where I will spend few days in the school/nursery taking natural portraits of the children.
